Mr. William Jackson "Jack" Chandler

Mr. William Jackson “Jack” Chandler, age 73 of Trion, passed away suddenly Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Jack was born in Trion, Georgia on May 25, 1948, son of the late Billy Chandler and Frances King Chandler.  He was retired from the Supply Room of Mt. Vernon Mills and had been employed with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department in the 70’s.  Jack was an American Patriot and an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family especially his granddaughter, Kayle.  In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by the love of his life, Lisa Ann Chandler on June 7, 2021; Uncle, Lamar Chandler and a nephew, Cpl. Chris Dye.

Jack is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lynette and Jason Waters; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Robert Coffman; grandchildren, Kayle Wood and Justin Wood; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside and Interment Services for Jack will be held Wednesday in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Randall Smith officiaiting.

Pallbearers will be Brian Flippo, Steve Dyer, Josh Smith, Gerald Queen, Tommy McRae and Richie Dye.

In accordance to Jack’s wishes, there will be no visitation or public service.
