William "Matt" Matchett Lee

Mr. William Matchett “Matt” Lee, age 57 of Summerville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 23, 2022 from injuries sustained in a pedestrian/automobile accident.

Matt was born in Marietta, Georgia on March 27, 1965, son of the late Laurence Wesley Lee and Patricia Ruth Ray Lee.  He was employed with Mt. Vernon Mills. Matt was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, loved football, and enjoyed fishing.

Matt is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Lee; her children, Thomas Vine and Cheyenne Nichole Gonzalez Villanueva; grandchildren, Avery Blake Vine and Rosemary Gonzalez Villanueva; and a number of nieces, nephews and additional family members.

In accordance with his wishes, Matt will be cremated and there are no formal plans for a memorial service at this time.
