Zipper Campbell

Mr. Anthony Morris “Zipper” Campbell, Jr. age 56 of Trion, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at his residence.

Zipper was born in Trion, Georgia on July 4, 1969, son of the late Anthony Morris Campbell, Sr. and Charlene Virginia Steele Campbell. He was a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church and was a jack of all trades. Zipper worked with Mt. Vernon Mills, CTL, was a mechanic and also helped his father in the Locksmith business. Among some of his many hobbies, he loved to dance. In addition to his parents, Zipper was preceded in death by granddaughter, Blakeleigh Faith Campbell; sister, Cindy Brown; uncle, Jack Campbell; grandmother, Doris Ridenhour and a grandfather, Willie Campbell.

Zipper is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Cody and Ali Campbell, Austin and Brittany Campbell and Will and Katelyn Campbell; sisters, Nicole Irvine and Angela Campbell; brother, JJ Irvine; former wife and friend, Beth Campbell; special friends, Gordon Kinsey, Tommy Slayton, Ricky Simpson, Bobby Chisolm and Chris “Bird” Scott; 13 grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Zipper will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hampton and Pastor Brandon Bishop officiating.

Zipper’s family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
