Alisa Dawn Burkhalter

Mrs. Alisa Dawn Burkhalter, age 55 of Summerville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Burkhalter was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 5, 1968, daughter of Violet Ruth Burhkalter Alexander.  She had been employed as an occupational therapist, and was of the Christian faith.  Mrs. Burkhalter loved her plants, cooking and traveling, but her favorite activity was spending time with her family, especially playing with and teaching her grandbabies.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Courtney Eliane Brown; grandmother, Nora Belle Davis and her former father-in-law, Jerry M. Brown.

Mrs. Burkhalter is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jacob Levi and Chelsea Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Baylee Delaine and Dakota Crowe; Mother and Stepfather, Violet Ruth and Don Alexander; grandchildren, Ellie Crowe and Oaklyn Crowe; and a number of additional Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and extended family members.

Graveside and Interment Services for Mrs. Burkhalter will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 1:30 P.M. in the Garrett Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Barrett officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Crowe, Matthew Johnston, Mason Eller and Scott Johnston.

The family of Mrs. Burkhalter receive friends Monday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. at the Coffman Funeral Home.
