Billy Ray Trammell

Mr. Billy Ray Trammell, age 53 of Summerville, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at a Rome Hospital.

Mr. Trammell born in Trion, Georgia on December 9, 1969, son of the late John Kenneth Trammell and Betty Faye Rape Cooper.  He had been employed in the Weave Room of Mt. Vernon Mills, but was most recently employed as a security officer with Country Hearth Inn and Suites.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Trammell was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Holcombe and two brothers, Steven Trammell and Chris Trammell Bingham.

Mr. Trammell is survived by a daughter, Samantha Ruth Trammell(Allen Barnes); sister, Ponda Russell; brothers, Kenny Trammell, Bret Trammell, Tony Trammell, Anthony Trammell, Jessie Trammell and Richard Trammell; grandchildren, Adrian Castro, Hayden Lamar Dent, Jr., Zaim Trammell and Samuel Allen Barnes; Mother of his daughter, Ame Ann Greene; nieces, Destinee Young, Patsy Sanchez, Zena Mitchell, Alexis Mitchell, Amanda Phillips; and a number of additional nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Mr. Trammell will be cremated and the family may hold a memorial service at a later date.
