Mr. Gary Wayne Blackmon, age 59 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at an Atlanta Hospital.

Gary was born in Summerville, Georgia on August 14, 1962, son of the late Edward Blackmon and Eula Mae Hill Blackmon. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by brothers, Billy Blackmon, Stanford Blackmon, and Calvin Blackmon.

Gary is survived by his wife, Kathy Blackmon; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy and Jamieson Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Bonnie Blackmon; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Ledford, Wanda and John Brown;, brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Retha Blackmon; 3 grandchildren, Chandler Godfrey, Laurali Hill, Amelia Blackmon.

According to Gary’s wishes, he will be cremated and the family will have a private memorial service later.
