Janice Booker Brewster

Mrs. Janice Booker Brewster, age 75 of the Perennial Springs Community, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2023 in a Rome hospital following an extended illness.

Mrs. Brewster was born in Summerville, Georgia on May 3, 1948, daughter of the late Roy Walter Booker and Irene Teems Booker.  She was a member of the Perennial Springs Baptist Church, was a former seamstress and was retired from Mohawk Industries.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brewster was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewey Clayton Brewster; second husband, James Pierson “Jim-Jim” Tingle; a sister, Doris Booker Ware; and a brother, Roy Walter Booker, Jr.

Mrs. Brewster is survived by her son, Joey Brewster; sister, Gail Echols; granddaughter, Kelsea and Travis Keith; niece, Kristi Ware; nephews, Kevin Ware, John Kevin Ware, and Bryan “Bubba” Echols; and a number of additional nieces, nephews and family members.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Brewster will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Perennial Springs Circle B Farm with Rev. Jeff Hammett and her granddaughter, Kelsea Keith officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kristi Ware, Kevin Ware, John Kevin Ware and Bryan “Bubba” Ware.
