Lamar Charles Love

Mr. Lamar Charles Love, age 64 of Menlo, Georgia passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Love was born in Trion, Georgia on March 17, 1959, son of the late L.C. “Bunky” Love and Mary Elizabeth “Peggy” Reese Love.  He was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills where he worked in the supply room and was also a member of the Quarter Century Club.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy, enjoyed NASCAR and was a member of the American Legion.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Love was preceded in death by grandparents, JD and Rena Reese and Charlie and Grace Love; brother-in-law, Ray Wallin and a nephew, Casey Wallin.

Mr. Love is survived by his sister, Susan Wallin (Bill Rider) and a number of nieces, cousins and additional family and friends.

Graveside and Interment Services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. in the AMI Cemetery with Rev. Rickey Biddle officiating.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Spillman, Dean Sweatman, Jackie Pritchett, Mike Anderson, Randy Bagley and Steve Love.

Mr. Love will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
