Mr. Casey Loray “Chico” Wallin, age 53 of Trion, Georgia passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Casey was born on December 3, 1968, son of Brenda Cofield Cooper and the late William Loray Wallin. He was employed with Taylor Construction and was of the Baptist Faith. Casey enjoyed working on and riding ATVs and anything having to do with being outdoors. In addition to his father, Casey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curt and Marie Cofield and B.F. and Eula Mae Wallin.

Casey is survived by a daughter, Sadie Rae Wallin; parents, Brenda and Lee Cooper; sister and brother-in-law, Starr and Steve McGill; step-mother, Susan Wallin; nieces, Savanna McGill and Sophie McGill; and a nephew, Brody Ward.

Graveside and Interment Services for Casey will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Mr. Steve McGill officiating.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Brown, Jeff Gardner, Robby Dalton, Todd Taylor, Brandon Tibbs, Michael Crabtree, Jimbo Crabtree and Chris Ledbetter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve McGill, Rusty Maddox, Derry Maddox, Anky Fulmer, Jeff Crider, Phil Crider, Randy Searels, Ricky Hammonds, Boob Hammonds, Robert Vanco and Lee Hawkins.

Casey will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday morning from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Please note that due to COVID-19 concerns, Brenda and Lee Cooper will not be at the visitation.

Per Casey’s family, no one will be permitted to enter the funeral home on Saturday without a mask. Please follow social distancing guidelines and use hand sanitizer liberally.
