Mr. Herbert J. "Herb" Broyles Obituary

Mr. Herbert J. “Herb” Broyles, Jr, age 93 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Broyles was born in Henegar, Alabama on February 25, 1929, son of William Broyles and Vera Watkins Broyles. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Broyles was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills. He enjoyed woodworking, target shooting and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters.

Mr. Broyles is survived by his wife, Imogene Bruce Broyles; son, Todd Broyles; grandchildren, Aaron Broyles, Casey Broyles and Sara Broyles and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private Committal Services for Mr. Broyles will be held in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors provided by the Army National Guard.
