Mr. William Scott "Scottie" Jones Obituary

Mr. William Scott “Scottie” Jones, age 67 of Summerville, Georgia passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 at a Ft. Oglethorpe hospital.

Mr. Jones was born in Trion, Georgia on February 3, 1956, son of the late William Jones and Thelma McKenzie Jones.  He attended the Chelsea Baptist Church and loved Christmas Lights and reading magazines.

Mr. Jones is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Mitzi and Steve Payton; brother, Jay Jones; caregivers and their families, Jennifer and Marcus Tate, Ray Dotson, Mack Dotson, Caroline Tate, Lila Tate, Georgia Tate and Adaline Tate; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside and Interment Services for Mr. Jones will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the West Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Lemons officiating

Pallbearers will include Jay Jones, Dylan Dodd, Tim Ridley, Marcus Tate, Ray Dotson and Mack Dotson.

The family will receive friends at the Coffman Funeral Home, Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M.
