Mrs. Charlotte Dean (Williams) Thomas

Mrs. Charlotte Dean Thomas, age 85, wife of Archie H. Thomas, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home, Columbia, TN with a graveside service immediately following at Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka with Bro. Kevin Owens officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on August 12, 1936, in Trion, Georgia, Charlotte was the daughter of the late R.W. Williams and the late Lena “Jo” Morris Williams. She married Archie Thomas on May 2, 1954, and together they had two children. She worked many years as an Opt Tech for General Motors before retiring. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Charlotte was a hard worker who loved cooking and watching soap operas. She always dressed nice and had jewelry to match every outfit she wore. She loved her dog Bo, and above all, loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband Archie, of sixty-eight years, she is survived by her son, Tim “Red” (Bridget) Thomas of Culleoka, daughter, Cindy J. (Terry) Fox of Culleoka, grandchildren, Leslie G. (Brad) Jewell, Brandy (Dale) Bolton, Nicole (Ted, Jr.) Wray, Brooke Fox, and great grandchildren, Dylan Wray, Addison Jewell, Nickolas Wray, Avery Jewell, and Hannah Bolton.

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Nashville School for the Blind, 115 Stewarts Ferry Pike, Nashville, TN 37214.
