Mrs. Mary Nell “Memaw” Clarke, age 91 of Trion, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Clarke was born in Trion, Georgia on February 14, 1931, daughter of the late Jason Broome and Mary Grace Bean Broome. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and was a retired daycare operator. She loved spending time and taking care of her family as well as all of the kids she helped care for. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clarke was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Warnock and Gerald Clarke; a grandson, Paul Warnock and a great grandson, Justin Warnock.

Mrs. Clarke is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Jim Warnock (Gartrelle Davison) and Tommy and Debbie Warnock; step-son, Jerry “Slack” Clarke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte Keen McGill and Ronald McGill and Sylvia and John Stanley; brother, Darriel Broome; special friends, Alisa and David Wood; a total of 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Clarke will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Minister Hugh Glaze officiating. Private Interment will be held in the West Hill Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and the Staff of Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Clarke will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.

Flowers will be accepted, however those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Potter Children’s Home, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101.
